Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and piloting emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory impact on innovation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum applications, AI governance, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology transformation
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
