Present to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for transformational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2026
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitor tech strategies to inform strategic positioning
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing future-ready technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record forecasting and implementing next-gen technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management experience
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Certification in emerging tech domains (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI Ethics)
