Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) to create 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Develop scenario-based models for technological disruption and competitive positioning
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio success and track ROI on R&D investments
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented initiatives (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech landscapes and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or disruption
