Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging tech domains including generative AI, biotechnology, and space tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with commercial potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future innovations into development roadmaps
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Build and manage relationships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive sustainable technology initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality targets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in ambiguity
