Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks for enterprise innovation pipeline
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, blockchain, neurotech) and commercialization pathways
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology investments with business objectives
- Produce scenario-based strategic models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, ACST)
- Experience with patent portfolio strategy and IP commercialization
