Responsibilities
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, biocomputing) and assess commercial viability
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate next-gen capabilities into core offerings
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption ROI and innovation portfolio performance
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
- Mentor junior researchers in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or green tech
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent
- Experience with technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning)
