Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for market viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for 2026 use cases
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating tech trends (demonstrated via patents/publications)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives
