Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in emerging domains: generative AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, neurotech interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and venture capitalists for tech ecosystem development
- Create frameworks for ethical technology governance and responsible innovation deployment
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
