Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Identify and partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for cutting-edge research collaborations
- Develop patent strategies protecting 50+ AI/quantum algorithm innovations annually
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology disruption risks and opportunities
- Mentor PhD fellows through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum/AI applications
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market ($1B+ impact)
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech lifecycle management
- Strategic consulting experience at top-tier firms (McKinsey, BCG) or Big Tech R&D
- Active contributor to IEEE/ISO standards committees for future technologies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
