Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough ideas
- Present technology trends and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory changes affecting technology adoption
- Manage innovation budget and ROI tracking for technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, or quantum computing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $5M+ budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or industry journals
