Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite investors and board members on tech investment opportunities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to pioneer next-gen innovations
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products with $50M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, or biotech
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in predictive modeling tools
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
