Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning and technology assessment across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space tech domains
- Develop strategic frameworks for evaluating emerging technologies' commercial viability and ethical implications
- Present technology insights to C-suite executives and board members, driving data-driven decision-making
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia to access cutting-edge innovations
- Manage technology incubation programs, from concept validation to pilot deployment
- Create competitive intelligence reports and disruption risk assessments for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data from diverse sources into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required
