Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, Web3) to create 2026+ innovation roadmaps
- Lead high-impact research initiatives in partnership with MIT and Stanford labs
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating disruptive technologies into core products
- Present future-tech visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and emerging startups
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech Vanguard program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in Nature or IEEE journals
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
