Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology research roadmap aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs worldwide
- Present research findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation through agile methodologies and rapid prototyping cycles
- Secure and manage research budgets exceeding $2M annually
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of curiosity and experimentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience securing federal grants and venture capital for research initiatives
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research in top-tier journals or industry white papers
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
