Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects from concept to prototype deployment
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Drive adoption of emerging tech through internal education and pilot programs
- Secure patents and protect intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record in launching at least 3 disruptive tech products
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or emerging tech domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategy
- Strong stakeholder management experience across global teams
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CTO, CISSP)
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership in tech innovation
