Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, bio-convergence) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market entry
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with ESG principles and regulatory landscapes
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for emerging tech adoption and ROI measurement
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and climate-driven tech disruptions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching tech products with 3+ year market forecasting
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ time zones
- Prior work in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, or energy) preferred
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal a plus
