Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2024-2026 horizon) through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Develop technology adoption roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future tech capabilities into product development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with quantified ROI projections
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, research labs, and industry think tanks
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology deployment timelines
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech scenarios and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling skills for trend forecasting and scenario planning
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions through compelling narratives
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
