Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bio-tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate planning
- Manage a $5M annual innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Proficiency in data-driven innovation tools (Tableau, Python, Miro)
