- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year transformative potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Create predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption scenarios
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $20M annually
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling technology ventures from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Strong understanding of global tech policy, ethics frameworks, and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
