Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interface systems
- Conduct scenario planning for AI governance frameworks and ethical AI deployment
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists
- Analyze emerging technologies (AGI, biocomputing, decentralized networks) for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Drive innovation through quarterly technology forecasting workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record leading quantum computing or AI transformation projects
- MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in futures methodology and technology impact assessment
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS or APF)
