Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and decentralized systems
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic technologies into customer-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and assess market readiness
- Design ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment ensuring compliance with evolving regulations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future tech methodologies and innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 3+ major product launches
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or blockchain
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech implementation projects
