Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions through agile methodologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Secure strategic partnerships and funding for high-impact innovation initiatives
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts to mitigate risks and capitalize on disruptions
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing architectures and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Track record of launching commercially successful tech products with >$50M impact
- Certified in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience securing venture capital or government grants for experimental projects
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership (published papers, patents, keynotes)
