Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ market disruption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Present visionary strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with venture partners on next-gen ecosystem development
- Drive patent portfolios for proprietary future tech solutions
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in future tech domains
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (e.g., IEEE, Nature Futures)
- PhD or equivalent in computational sciences or engineering
- Fluency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
