Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives for 2026+ technology horizons (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Prototype and validate breakthrough technologies in our state-of-the-art lab
- Secure $5M+ in strategic partnerships with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and technologists through quarterly hackathons
- Present findings at global tech summits including Web Summit and CES 2026
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent startup exits)
- Proven track record of scaling R&D projects from concept to market launch
- Published research in Nature or IEEE journals on future tech applications
- Expertise in technology ethics frameworks (IEEE 7000, EU AI Act compliance)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration projects
