Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation projects for 2026 technology horizons, from ideation to market-ready prototypes
- Build and manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership, with proven track record in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, neuromorphic systems, or sustainable tech
- Portfolio of launched products or patents in futuristic technology domains
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, PDMA) highly valued
