Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology roadmaps with 18-month vision horizons
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation pods from ideation to prototype validation
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic tech forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior innovators in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum projects with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in managing R&D budgets exceeding $2M
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
