- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting global markets
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure long-term strategic initiatives and innovation ROI
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-backed narratives
- Partner with policy think tanks to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps (quantum/AI/blockchain experience preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (whitepapers/articles)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP)
- Experience scaling startups from concept to market leadership
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
