Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of freight
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations, HOS requirements, and local traffic laws
- Complete delivery documentation and provide customer service support
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metropolitan area and California highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and load securement
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
