Job Overview
As a Full-Time Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. We value safety above all else and expect our drivers to adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local roads.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate safe driving habits at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
