Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (flatbed, dry van) on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate loading/unloading with warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate manual transmission
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas highway systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
