Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Enforce safety protocols for student boarding/alighting
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adapt routes for weather, traffic, and special events
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Class B CDL with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather
- Commitment to student safety and punctuality
