Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Supervise students during boarding, transit, and disembarkation
- Implement emergency procedures and manage student behavior
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger & School Bus Endorsements
- Minimum 2 years driving experience (commercial preferred)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Child Abuse Clearance and background check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
