Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to requested destinations using GPS navigation
- Maintain clean, well-maintained vehicles with CityRide branding
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and CityRide safety protocols
- Monitor earnings through the driver app and optimize for peak hours
- Report maintenance issues and complete vehicle inspections
- Assist riders with luggage and special accessibility needs
- Complete background checks and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Smartphone with reliable data and latest CityRide app
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill geography
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work 30+ hours weekly including weekends
- Must own or lease a 4-door vehicle under 10 years old
- Basic smartphone troubleshooting abilities
