Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, medications, and confidential documents between hospitals, clinics, labs, and patient locations
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain absolute confidentiality of all patient data
- Perform accurate documentation and tracking of all deliveries using our proprietary mobile technology
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of courier equipment
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and maintain timely delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients during interactions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant transportation or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds safely
