What You'll Do
As a Delivery Driver at Swift Logistics, you will be the face of our company. You will ensure our customers receive their packages safely and on time while maintaining a positive, professional image.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to residential and commercial locations in and around Wichita, KS.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately, adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving any issues or questions regarding deliveries with a smile.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Update delivery status accurately using company software or mobile applications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Reliable transportation to the local distribution center.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
