Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Richmond metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
