Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods within Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for completed shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Load/unload merchandise efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Houston streets, highways, and navigation tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication and route tracking
