Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods within Fort Wayne city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to organize and prioritize daily delivery schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or clean Class C license with 2+ years driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Fort Wayne area streets and navigation tools
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
