Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws, as well as company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience is preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting purposes.
