Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated terminals and customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying manifests to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and all required shipping documentation.
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic conditions, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Clean and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and logbook requirements.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Good manual dexterity and the physical stamina to lift, pull, and carry cargo.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.
