Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight efficiently with minimal manual handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated or regional background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Previous experience with refrigerated or dry van freight preferred
