Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated destinations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment
- Document delivery status and handle paperwork with precision
- Communicate with dispatch team to resolve route or delivery issues
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
