Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Complete delivery documentation and communicate shipment status
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Represent the company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Basic navigation experience with GPS systems
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
