Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain clear communication with dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening per company policy
