Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Seattle metropolitan area and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with precision using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent company with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient in GPS navigation and transportation management systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
