Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across regional routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to delivery schedules
- Secure and unload cargo at multiple destinations with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records for compliance tracking
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status and delays
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with El Paso, TX regional highways and border crossings
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
