Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional freight transport
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading of diverse cargo
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing fuel consumption
- Document freight damage and discrepancies using digital systems
- Support cross-functional teams during peak shipping seasons
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable freight/delivery experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Familiarity with Honolulu's commercial zones and port operations
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems and route planning apps
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
