Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and all traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and document delivery paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
