Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials, aggregates, and waste to designated locations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch and site supervisors to optimize routes and timelines
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of local Bakersfield/Kern County routes
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass random drug tests
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
