Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or waste to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Adapt routes in real-time based on traffic conditions and project needs
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for seamless operations
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro routes and construction zones
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
